The real history of basketball

Basketball, as we understand it today, was not always as basic as it seems. There were no huge, multi-million buck celebrities like Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan or Larry Byrd. There were not any transmission or broadcasters, no wood floors and even nets. It was a right of flow and a way to resolve disagreements. Basketball as it was first seen took place 100’s of years earlier and was played by the Mayans and Incas of Mexico, Peru and other South American countries. Unlike the game of basketball that we understand and like today, the victors did not obtain rewards in their incomes or obtain granted elegant cars, jets or elegant vacations. The winning group reached do one vital point: live. This was a “gentleman’s means” to manage dispute without hundreds or hundreds of deaths, similar to dueling in the 17th and 18th centuries.
